About Me

I moved to Kelowna in 2013 in search of a new hometown that suited my lifestyle better than northern Alberta. I wanted a place with four seasons where I could ski in the winter, ride my bike in the summer, and share my evenings on the back patio with my friends and family.

My love of the Okanagan increased the day I met my wife.

I fell in love with the Okanagan because life here feels like I’m on a holiday all of the time. I can balance work and the outdoors well. It’s easy to get around the Okanagan and there are tons of things to do every day. On top of that, winters are mild and summers are hot and dry – it’s the best of everything I love! I also love the growing food scene. There are so many great locally owned places to eat and drink. Then there is the wine! One of my favorite fall weekend activities is to head out with a picnic lunch and hit up one of the amazing wineries nearby.

I met Kristi on St. Patrick’s day in 2014. We had both moved to town the year before. We instantly connected. In May of 2017 we were married. Although I love a lot of things about this town, Meeting my wife here was the best thing about moving here.
